Boston & New York City

I'm tentativley going to Boston & New York City for a few days in August. I know I'm mostly asking the wrong crowd by asking here - but if you have any suggestions of what I should do, either comment here or e-mail me. The nights of August 11 in Boston and August 12 in NYC are booked, but I'm looking at a a few days before in Boston and a few days after in NYC, and probably 1 more day in Boston just to make getting plane tickets easier. I'll know more about if I'm going, and how long later in the week.
