Just a quick note

The county of Santa Cruz seems determined to have me sit on a jury of some kind this year. Earlier this year, late March or early April, I got an affadiv (I know I spelled that wrong) to serve on the grand jury. It may have been interesting, but required a minimum of 15 to 20 hours a week for a year, so I checked the box to excuse myself and sent it back.

A couple of weeks later, I get a summons for regular jury duty. I start next Monday. Not sure yet if I'll have to go in, or get picked for a jury. I've heard that they've been sequestering a lot of jurys lately. So if I seem to have vanished, that's why.
