Went to a friend's birthday dinner last night. We went to a wine bar for wine tasting and appetizers, with the inention of going to a chinese resataurant for dinner. But we were having so much fun at the wine bar, we just turned that into dinner. After dinner we went to the house where I was dog sitting a couple of weekends ago for a while.
It was really windy out in the ocean today, with white caps much further out than normal. I took a few pictures, but haven't uploaded them to a server yet, so maybe I'll post some tomorrow if they look good enough.
Just got a weather bulletin on tv. These are really rare though, I almost forgot
what they are like. (Flash flood warning. It's raining again tonight, nearly 2 inches in the last 3 hours.) Probably won't affect the area where I live, but I'm sure there will be a lot of debris in the street when I go to work in the morning.
Watched the Oscar's tonight. One advantage of living on the west coast is that even if they run over, they're usually over early enough that you can get to bed ontime, or possibly even early if you wanted to, since they start at 5pm.
